
The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) convened its 50th annual General Meeting on May 28 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
CRVA elected its 2025-26 Executive Committee and discussed key issues such as U.S.-Canadian trade policy and reporting obligations regarding per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Marty Bloemberg of GLP Products was re-elected as CRVA’s chairman. Northern Lite Manufacturing’s Keith Donkin was elected treasurer, Truma North America’s Mark Howlett was elected secretary, and Chantal Robin of Northpoint Financial was elected director at large.
Roger Fauilkner of General Coach Canada will serve as past chairman and Shane Devenish is CRVA’s president.
The board discussed the continued impact of U.S. tariffs on Canadian-manufactured motorhomes and Canada’s countertariffs on U.S. RV imports. CRVA reaffirmed its commitment to advocate for a resolution. CRVA presented updated talking points and letters of support to advance the conversation.
The meeting featured updates on CRVA’s national 50th anniversary celebration, including the ongoing cross-country tour of the wrapped General Coach travel trailer being raffled in support of the Care Camps Foundation.
