The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association reports second-quarter RV wholesale shipments into Canada totaled 20,436 units compared with 16,250 in 2021, a 25.8% year-over-year increase.

RV wholesale shipments through the first six months of 2022 totaled 38,400 compared with 30,102 units in the first six months of 2021, a 27.6% increase.

By comparison, RVIA’s wholesale shipment totals through the first six months of 2022 were 7.8% more than the first six months of 2021.

According to Statistical Surveys, RVDA of Canada reported second-quarter retail activity totaled 18,869 units. CRVA said the 1,567 RV difference between shipments and retail registrations in the quarter led to increased inventory levels during the quarter. CRVA said the increase was considered appropriate by Statistical Surveys Inc.
