Cleer Vision Expands Leadership Team

Cleer Vision, an Airxcel brand and glass and window manufacturer, hired one and promoted another individual in its Windows and Tempered Glass divisions.

Kevin Schmidt was hired as the new director of operations. Schmidt is a graduate of Purdue University with years spent in operations leadership. In the new role, Schmidt will drive growth strategy and proficiency to enhance the culture of streamlined innovation in the company’s tempered glass division.

“Schmidt brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to our team,” said Rick Collins, Cleer Vision division president.. “His insight and experience in a range of functional areas offer a unique perspective that will benefit both our company and Schmidt himself as he begins his career with Cleer Vision.”

Jimmy Harlow was promoted to general manager of the window division. Harlow has over a decade of experience with Cleer Vision serving numerous roles. Harlow was general manager for the tempered glass division and vice president of manufacturing for the window division. As general manager, Harlow will play a key part in the window division reaching its goals for production and expansion in 2022.

“Harlow has been an integral part of the amazing growth we have had in both our windows and tempered glass divisions,” Collins said. “He helped Cleer Vision earn a reputation as a trusted and valued supplier, and we are grateful to have his industry knowledge and leadership skills now in this new role at Cleer Vision Windows.”
