Forest River’s Coachmen RV division completed its annual food drive. The “Fill a Remote RV” event gathered over 5,400 items to donate to the Middlebury (Indiana) Food Pantry.

The donations filled a Coachmen Remote travel trailer. Items donated included boxes and cans of non-perishable food, paper products and cleaning supplies.

Because the Coachmen division was able to fill the Remote, the team got to “throw” a pie at Coachmen President Bob Dumm. In addition to Dumm, the team got to “pie” general managers Andy Brock, Mike Gaeddert and Mike McIntire.

Each of the general managers’ divisions donated over 1,000 items to the food drive.

Coachmen’s Plant 210 also chose to join in the celebration fun. The plant staged its own pie-throwing event.

“The friendly competition makes it fun,” Dumm said before the food drive began, “but the real win is helping our families right here in Middlebury.”
