Forest River’s Coachmen RV division will begin its annual food drive Monday.
The “Fill a Remote RV” Food Drive will attempt to fill a Coachmen Remote travel trailer with non-perishable food and hygiene essentials. The RV will be stationed in front of Plant 10.
Coachmen President Bob Dumm said the initiative’s mission is to help the Middlebury Food Pantry in Indiana feed local families during the holidays.
“Coachmen has always been about more than RVs—it is about people,” Dumm said. “This food drive could not come at a better time. So many families are feeling the strain right now, and we are proud to support the Middlebury Food Pantry in helping our neighbors get through the season.”
To make the event more engaging, Dumm said the division contributing the most donations will have the chance to throw a pie at his face.
“The friendly competition makes it fun,” Dumm said, “but the real win is helping our families right here in Middlebury.”
