Following up on an announcement made in the June issue of RV News magazine, SuperSprings International announced that Coachmen RV Type C motorhomes will add SuperSprings as standard front and rear equipment, beginning in September.

The addition will come to select Freelander, Leprechaun and Cross Trail XL motorhomes, Coachmen National Sales Manager Luke Handyside said.

The move comes after Coachmen RV adopted SuperSprings as standard equipment across its Type B motorhome lines. Midwest Automotive Designs and Tiffin Wayfarer Type C motorhomes and Roadtrek and Pleasure-Way Type B motorhomes also incorporate SuperSprings as standard OE equipment, Adam Weisner, chief commercial officer at SuperSprings, said in the June RV News issue.

“What we found with SuperSprings International totally blew us away,” Handyside said.

Handyside attributed the decision in part to discussions he had with Type B Project Manager Nick Recchio.

“Since they were having a lot of success with it, we decided to test them on our Class C motorhomes,” Handyside said, “and quickly realized the handling and performance benefits over the airbag system, not to mention the reliability.”
