RV dealers will need inventory when the COVID-19 crisis ends. With many OEMs halting production during the pandemic, dealers face a possible inventory shortage in the months ahead.

To help dealers mobilize and prepare for their eventual comeback, RECVEX is making its RECVEX Dealer Connect platform available to dealers nationwide on a 120-day free trial and free integration. RECVEX will import dealer inventory to the proprietary platform to let dealers buy and sell inventory to each other.

RECVEX estimates OEMs will be closed one to two months, causing a shortage of available inventory to reach very high levels. In a press release, the company expressed concern dealers will have pent up demand and not be able to get the units they need.

Due to market conditions, RECVEX said it will absorb all integration costs and waive subscription fees. Selling dealers never pay fees; buyers; fees are capped at 1 percent for new units and 3 percent for used units.

RECVEX Dealers can buy and make offers from other RECVEX dealers privately and have their desired unit shipped directly to their store via RECVEX Freight.

Dealers that need to reduce inventory surplus can price and offer to other franchised dealers at their predetermined price. Dealers that rebound quickly and need to acquire units within days, not months, can scan the platform for units they need. From any web-enabled workstation, they can ask questions, make offers and buy.
