DealerPro RV Training Director of Sales Ken Barnes will share lessons on ways to boost a dealership’s fixed-operations performance during two workshops at the upcoming RVDA Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.

“Two Controllables That Can Double Your Fixed Ops GP in Less Than 12 Months” will be held from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Nov. 13. RVDA said Barnes will review pay plans that motivate service and parts personnel and management tactics that grow gross profits while providing a better customer experience.

Throughout the presentation, results from a case study on boosting service and parts gross profit will be shared.

RVDA said attendees will learn how to accurately define and calculate labor margin and parts margin and understand their impact on gross profit. The workshop will demonstrate how to apply proven strategies, including pay plans and daily management techniques, to improve labor and parts profitability.

The session will identify best practices from a case study to increase fixed-operations’ gross profit.

At 4 p.m. Nov. 13, Barnes will present “Fix it Once, Retain Them for Life.”

RVDA said Barnes will share real-world strategies RV dealers are using to create frictionless service experiences. The session covers how to use data and digital touchpoints to modernize your process, increase repeat business and turn every repair order into a relationship.

Attendees will learn to implement proven communication strategies that improve CSI scores and reduce service-related complaints and defection. Dealers will learn how to create a customer-first service culture that boosts repeat business, referral traffic and long-term profitability.

The workshop will teach attendees how to leverage digital tools like text messaging, CRM automation and customer follow-ups to enhance service engagement and drive loyalty.
