Dealers’ Long-Term View Grows Bullish

Dealers are getting increasingly positive about the long-term industry outlook, according to the latest Baird Dealer Sentiment index.

The index, conducted jointly by Baird and RVDA, found the three- to five-year outlook improving to a 64 out of 100 in October. The level is up 5% from the 61 registered in September and up 18.5% from the 54 registered in July.

Among current conditions, dealers remained positive, although pulling back from recent months. Dealers registered a 64 in October, a 10% dip from the 71 registered in August and September.
