Dutchmen RV Touts the ‘Good Life’ with Country Music Artist

Country music artist Kip Moore kicked off his “How High Tour” by partnering with Dutchmen RV.

Moore’s team presented the idea of transforming the manufacturer’s Kodiak trailer into a mobile photo booth, similar to his music video, and debuting the unit in several Nashville tourist areas – including at a NASCAR race last weekend. The “Good Life” promotion would extend over a four-week period, where fans could have pictures taken in the RV photo booth.

“Kip Moore’s team first sent us a link to the unreleased ‘Good Life’ music video as a tease to what they wanted to do,” Dutchmen Director of Marketing Angelia Peterson said. “In the Good Life video, we see various people in a photo booth posing taking pictures. We absolutely loved the song; however, the timing was tight and I had to sell the idea to the team.”

Moore’s team picked up a Kodiak 22SBH at Camping World Nashville. The trailer was wrapped in a 1970s graphic design, with the interior transformed to look like the music video’s featured photo booth.

“Using the trailer as a meet-and-greet location is just another great example of how useful and multi-purpose trailers can be,” Kodiak Product Manager Scott Gould said.

Moore surprised fans at certain locations by arriving to take pictures in the “Good Life” RV.

“The promotion exceeded our expectations, just from seeing the posts and reading the comments on Kip’s social media accounts,” Kodiak GM Aaron Young said. “People loved the trailer. It was crazy that they would drive for hundreds of miles and stand in line for hours just to take their picture in or outside the Kodiak.”

Dutchmen stated the promotion was so well-received that Moore’s team requested to keep the trailer an additional week for a last-minute show in downtown Nashville.

“When Angelia presented the idea to us, initially we were excited, as we have never done anything like this before,” Dutchmen President Kyle Kwasny said. “The song is about having a good life – living your best life. We feel when you are camping you are living the good life by enjoying the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. For Dutchmen, this was something outside of the box and another avenue to interact with a new buyer’s segment.”

The company touted its next Kodiak debut June 30, where the photo booth trailer will be seen at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl.
