Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Indiana manufacturers have, once again, stepped up to the challenge by shifting production lines, finding inventive ways to tackle workplace challenges and reaching out to assist those in need.
The Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA) applauds the inventive efforts of the manufacturing community, leadership of the state, and other entities in assisting companies in the procurement of the critical personal protective equipment (PPE) needs of our state.
The IMA has been working with the manufacturing community to assist them by procuring vital information, connecting them with resources, and providing virtual learning opportunities.
Now, with the shift to reopen the economy, many manufacturers are in vital need of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure their workers can return to work safely and confidently.
In response, the IMA has created a supply listing specifically for COVID-19 resources. Indiana manufacturers can now visit the IMA’s COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Supplier listing to find vital supplies to meet their specific needs. Manufacturers who wish to be listed can do so by filling out a form located at the top of the supply resource page.
The listing is open to all manufacturers, and will continue for as long as needed to help our community navigate through these trying times.
This is a free service being offered by the IMA to member and non-members alike.
Manufacturing remains the main driver of Indiana’s economy, and the IMA said it will lead the way by innovating, connecting and providing expertise where needed.
