A year after bringing on a new president, Dometic is again searching for a new executive leader.
Todd Seyfert, who was hired as Dometic’s Land Vehicles America segment president in January 2024, will depart the company at the end of February. Seyfert will take over as president and CEO of Sturm, Ruger & Co., effective March 1. The company is better known as Ruger, a firearms manufacturer for the commercial sporting market.
Along with this change, there will be a reorganization amongst Dometic’s Land Vehicle segments. Corporate CEO Juan Vargues said the company’s three Land Vehicle segments—Land Vehicle Americas, EMEA and APAC—will be consolidated into one Global Land Vehicles segment.
Vargues will lead the Global Land Vehicles segment on an interim basis until Dometic hires Seyfert’s replacement. The team will remain focused on the company’s RV operations in the U.S., both in the OE and aftermarket segments.
Director of Marketing Brian Noble said Dometic hasa very strong team in place, with numerous leaders with a decade or more of experience with the company.
“This does not change our focus, our goal or our objective,” Noble said. “We remain focused on the RV industry. We are excited for Todd and his next step. He is a great leader, and we appreciate the time he gave Dometic. He is leaving the team in a better place for growth and success.”

Among the leaders Dometic has in place are: Brian Dudra – Vice President/General Manager – Climate Systems, Michael McCaslin – Vice President & General Manager, Service & Aftermarket, Cody Brooner – VP of Product Development & Product Management.
Seyfert will replace Chris Killoy, who is retiring from Ruger after 20 years with the company.
“I am honored to join Ruger and am eager to build upon the strong foundation established by Chris Killoy, the executive team and the 1,800 Ruger employees,” Seyfert said. “I look forward to leading Ruger into its next phase of growth while maintaining our commitment to the company’s core values of integrity, respect, innovation, and teamwork.”
Ruger Board Chairman John Cosentino said Seyfert is an accomplished executive with extensive outdoor adventure and shooting sports experience.
“He will be instrumental in further strengthening Ruger’s market position,” Cosentino said. “The Board of Directors is confident that Todd’s appointment has positioned Ruger for sustained growth, profitability and innovation in the years to come.”
