The Society of Certified RV Professionals and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center (RVLC) announced that RV Fixed Operations Professional Certification Week is March 6-12.

The designated week recognizes certified employees and promotes education through the RVLC, where fixed-operations professionals can take parts and service management certification programs.

The RVLC Board of Directors created the Society of Certified RV Professionals in 2014. The partnership’s goal is to retain and add more certified professionals to the RV industry. New RVLC resources include the RV Fixed Operations Today website and the service writer advisor online course.

“It’s an especially exciting time for fixed ops certified professionals with a number of new educational resources through the RV Learning Center that were not available a year ago,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said.

Ohio State University’s Center for Education and Training for Employment developed RVLC’s learning credentials. RVLC also received input from suppliers, distributors, dealer owners and manufacturers who are committed to dealership education and customer service.

The RVLC offers parts manager, parts specialist, service writer or advisor, service manager and warranty administrator certifications. The Society of Certified RV Professionals provides scholarships to encourage professional development and continuous training.
