The new Fleetwood RV Flex luxury coach will make its official debut at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Sept. 14-18.

The Type A gas Flex is a family motorhome that sleeps six. The Flex 32S has a full wall slide. It has two full baths, a residential refrigerator, an electric Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, jack knife sofa and dinette that convert into beds, three LED TVs, and theater seating – all standard.

“We want to give families plenty of choices with the Flex model, so we are offering three different floorplans and three different RV lengths,” said Doug Miller, product manager for Rev Recreation Group’s Class A products. “When you couple the floorplan selection with the amenities that  we have added, it makes for quite an impressive RV.”

The Flex is built on a 22,000-pound chassis and has a Ford 7.3L V8 engine that generates 350 horsepower at 468 pound-feet of torque. The Flex’s tow hitch is rated at 8,000 pounds.

The Flex motorhome includes technological advances that make RV life easier, Fleetwood said. The model’s WiFi Ranger boosts existing Wi-Fi signals; a MultiPlex house control has a 7-inch digital display; and a dash stereo features a 10.1-inch tilt screen with Apple CarPlay and is Android Auto compatible.

The grill features chrome accents. The full-body, four-color paint comes standard and the graphics feature sharp lines and angles. The rear is a one-piece fiberglass cap with upgraded lighting features.

Exterior color choices include a silver and blue combination called Steel Creek; a red and gray color scheme dubbed Reserve; and gray with green accents known as Congaree.

The Flex is available in floorplans ranging from 32 feet to 35 feet long.

32S: The 32-foot, twin-slide floorplan features two full baths, a convertible dinette, a jack knife sofa and the Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed. A large pantry in the kitchen provides extra storage.

34J: The 34-foot, single wall, full slide includes bunk beds with a rolling barn door, a dinette, jack knife sofa, Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, a full-length wardrobe in the master bedroom, an exterior kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink and pass-through luggage bays.

35R: The 35-foot, twin-slide floorplan has extra space for entertaining. The RV boasts theater seating, a jack knife sofa, dinette, Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, and a large pantry. The RV also comes with a 2,000-watt inverter.

The Flex model features wainscotting, accent panels and feature walls. Owners can choose from four different cabinetry types – two stained and two painted woods – and three different interior décor packages. Tarkett flooring is used throughout the coach and the galley boasts attractive solid surface countertops.

The Flex from Fleetwood RV has a starting MSRP of $199,888.
