The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) opened its 35th Annual 2020 Florida RV SuperShow on Wednesday, Jan. 15 to huge crowds. With perfect weather, opening-day attendance exceeded last year’s show with nearly 19,500 people at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida.

The 2020 SuperShow has representation from every major RV manufacturer as well as hundreds of accessory booths exhibitors.

“We will have more suppliers’ booths and every type, size and style of RV on the market,” FRVTA Marketing Director David Kelly said. “With the addition of new entertainment and more seminars, we’re anticipating record crowds again this year. With an opening day crowd like we had today, we expect to blow the doors off the old record.”

The theme of this year’s show is “On the Road, Off the Grid.” With interest in going green and leaving a smaller carbon footprint, the theme fits into all the things RVs provide. The interest in outdoor recreation is at an all-time high and the theme relates to consumers who want to bring hunting gear, fishing equipment, bikes and other gear when they camp. And, if you get tired of your view or your neighbors all you have to do is move on.

Seminars are presented throughout the day. National RV Writer Bob Marx is hosting two consumers seminars on the RV lifestyle each day. Additional seminars topics include nomadic living, weight and tire issues and guided RV tours.

The Super Rally is celebrating its 33rd year at the show. This RV rally is open to all RV clubs and the public and includes a number of amenities including free admission to the SuperShow all five public days, meeting facilities for your club, free coffee and donuts every morning and seminars. Three nights of entertainment and refreshments are also included and will feature live music.”
