Outdoorsy, the RV dealer financial services provider and online rental platform, was named one of America’s Best Startup Employers in 2022 by Forbes Media.

The honor marks the third year in a row Outdoorsy was recognized by Forbes on its list of the 500 best startup companies to work for in the U.S.

In addition to being the only vehicle rental marketplace ranked in the Transportation category, Outdoorsy was the only peer-to-peer vacation rental company named to Forbes’ survey, Outdoorsy stated.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized and awarded this distinction by Forbes for the third year running,” said Jeff Cavins, Outdoorsy co-founder and CEO. “We see this accolade as a testament to our team’s dedication to keep our work culture and our employee wellbeing at the forefront of every decision.”

While prioritizing the 67 percent of first-time RVers visiting Outdoorsy’s site daily, company Head of People Cindy Strong said the priority is focuses within.

“As a company, the past two years have challenged us in a good way to lead with empathy and attend to the holistic needs of our team members,” Strong said, adding that “positive results include enhancing DEIB initiatives, free mental health-provider care, and an increased budget of $5,000 per employee for team members to get out, explore the outdoors, and experience Outdoorsy firsthand.”

Forbes and Statista Inc. analyzed more than 7 million data points from three different criteria – employee reputation, employee satisfaction, and growth – to identify the top startup employers.
