Ford Motor Company Resumes U.S. Production Today

Ford started resuming production and operations in the United States today, Monday, May 18.

Ford Motor Company announced that its factory employees would return to work today, at a time when many states have begun rolling back restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company has implemented “robust safety and care measures” globally to help support a safe and healthy environment for the company’s workforce, including health assessment measures, personal protective equipment and facility modifications to increase social distancing.

Ford Motor Company is a global company based in Dearborn, Michigan. The company designs, manufactures, markets and services a full line of Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, electrified vehicles and Lincoln luxury vehicles, provides financial services through Ford Motor Credit Company and is pursuing leadership positions in electrification, autonomous vehicles and mobility solutions.
