Freedman Seating Co. is stepping back into the RV industry with a new RV interior product line.

The supplier has made automotive seats for more than 125 years. From the 1960s through the 1980s, Freedman manufactured RV and van seating to meet demand in the recreational travel industry. The company is returning to these types of products again with sales available to OEMs, dealers and consumers.

The new line has five seating options and a foldaway table.

For drivers, Freedman is reintroducing its 24-inch Hi-Rider and Venture captain’s chairs. The company offers customization and function options for the two chairs, such as a manually adjustable, air pump lumbar support; upholstered or non-upholstered armrests; two-tone upholstery and contrast stitching; and custom branding on recliner handles for large order amounts.

For passengers, Freedman launched two new foldaway seats and redesigned a third foldaway seating option. All three seats feature three-point seat belts, choices of upholstery and customization options such as CRS hooks for child seats, headrests, armrests, USB outlets and other amenities.

The new 3PT Foldaway and Bellagio Foldaway seats offer customization options to OEMs or dealers, Freedman stated.

The 3PT Foldaway comes standard with a flexible grid suspension under contoured seat and back cushions on jig-welded tubular frames. Options include adding armrests, foam, vinyl or cloth coverings, wheelchair restraints, call/stop buttons and ADA options, as well as vertical stitching.

The Bellagio Foldaway is offered through the FMS Seating brand. Customization options include a under seat retractor 2PT belt, contrasting stitching, mesh or vinyl map pockets, armrests, CRS hooks and logos on the headrest.

The third seat is the GO-ES Foldaway that utilizes the company’s upgraded SpaceSaver design. The design feature folds the seat up and provides more aisle space when stowed or deployed. This seat customization options including BV mounts, AM mounts, a variety of seat material choices, and a seat tracking informational system.

The final passenger seat Freedman launched was the SplitFlip seats, designed for bus or van configurations.

The last item in the line is a foldaway table with a weight rating of up to 50 pounds.
