Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) will feature new model-year chassis on numerous motorhomes at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa this week.
Among the new models with FCCC builds are Fleetwood RV’s Palisade and Tiffin Motorhomes’ Allegro Bus and Zephyr.
The 2025 Palisade is built on an XCM chassis with a modular design and lowered rear section. FCCC said the combination provides versatile floorplan options and extended passthrough storage. The Palisade features a 450-horspower Cummins L9 engine with 1,250-foot-pounds of torque.
The motorhome includes Freightliner’s RoadWatch safety features, OptiView all-digital display and DriveTech steering wheel with column-mounted controls.
The Palisade includes FCCC’s V-Ride rear suspension, UltraSteer tag axle and factory installed BrakeSync supplemental braking system.
Fleetwood Product Manager Doug Miller said, “We believe strongly that every aspect and component of the Palisade plays a role in providing a top-tier RV experience, and that starts with the chassis. Our customers rely on Fleetwood products for their quality, dependability and innovation, which is exactly what the XCM from FCCC provides as the foundation for the Palisade.”
Tiffin’s 2025 Allegro Bus is built on FCCC’s PowerGlide XC chassis. The chassis is new and was developed in a partnership between FCCC and Tiffin.

The PowerGlide XC features a raised-rail design to lower the engine and expand floorplan options. The front-extended frame rail is specially designed to match the RV’s body and construction. The steering wheel column design passes through the front cab wall rather than the floor. FCCC said the chance gives consumers a more automotive feel, removing objects around the driver’s feet.
The Allegro Bus has a 450-horsepower Cummins L9 engine with 1,250-foot-pounds of torque. The motorhome includes RoadWatch, OptiView, DriveTech, V-Ride and BrakeSync.
The 2025 Zephyr rides on the PowerGlide SL chassis. The raised-rail chassis offers 30% more storage than a traditional raised-rail chassis. The motorhome includes the same features as found on the Allegro Bus.
The Zephyr is powered by a 605-horsepower Cummins X15 engine with 1,950-foot-pounds of torque. The motorhome has a towing capacity of 20,000 pounds.
