Florida RV Trade Association officials says at least 450 supplier booths and nearly every major manufacturer’s RVs will be on hand at the 35th Florida RV SuperShow, slated for Jan. 15-19 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

The high number of exhibitors will likely boost attendance for a show that has already seen growth over the past several years.

Marketing Director Dave Kelly says the SuperShow should reach or top last year’s total attendance of 74,286. He says the event attracts attendees from the Middle East, Far East, Europe and Australia.

Executive Director Lance Wilson says the show also draws a broad demographic range, especially a younger group of RV consumers. Many of whom work from home and attend the show throughout the week.

Retirees are another big group that attends the SuperShow, with many showing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Wilson says he event’s blueprint will match previous shows, including an Industry Day prior to the Public Days while Lippert will host a seminar on components, replacing a similar event previous done by Cummins.

Wilson says the fairgrounds facility offers FRVTA a higher-profile venue but its overall space is limiting further expansion.
