Genesis Products, manufacturer of laminated RV panels and wood components is partnering with Garnica Plywood, a European provider of lightweight and high-quality plywood for the RV market. The strategic partnership enables Genesis Products to sell European plantation-grown Garnica lightweight plywood to RV OEMs in the United States which the company says offers higher-quality and consistency.
Genesis Products offer the lightweight plywood because it was developed to meet specific RV manufacturing needs like weight reduction without performance loss, custom dimensions, non-added formaldehyde-free adhesives, and void-free innerplys.
“We are committed to our partnership with Garnica, with the goal to bring custom, premium-quality, lightweight plywood to our customers,” Genesis CEO and President Jon Wenger said. “The Garnica plywood panels feature outstanding surface quality, that is easy to machine and transport thanks to the reduced weight.”
Garnica is wood products supplier for the European caravan industry. Through the partnership, Genesis and Garnica say they will focus on bringing decades of experience and R and D capabilities to the North American market. Genesis will lead the product specification and development process to tailor products to RV manufacturers demands.
“Other plywood mills produce standard products for many markets.” Wenger said. “RVs are Garnica’s business and RVs are Genesis’ business.”
