Government Issues Recall List

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls:

LANCE CAMPER MANUFACTURING CORP.

Improperly secured propane hose may cause fire.

A propane leak caused by an improperly secured propane hose can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 120

Lance Camper is recalling certain 2022 1685 and 1985 travel trailers. The liquid propane hose may not be properly secured to the frame, enabling the hose to contact the leaf springs, which can cause a gas leak.

Dealers will properly secure the LP hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14. Owners may contact Lance Camper customer service at 1-661-949-3322.

THOR MOTOR COACH

Improperly routed propane line.

An improperly routed propane line can cause a gas leak, increasing the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 731

Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2020-2021 Omni and Magnitude motorhomes. The propane gas line may have been incorrectly routed through the rear suspension leaf springs, which could damage the line and cause a gas leak.

Dealers will re-route the propane line as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 18. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-798-855-2867. TMC’s number for this recall is RC000256. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall 21V-754.
