
Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) rolled out updates to its Leadership Insights dealership analytics platform.
The company said the new views and upgrades enable dealerships to set performance goals, track progress in real time and use in-depth year-over-year (YoY) comparisons and actionable metrics to make informed decisions.
Don Miller, senior data innovation manager at IDS, said the new views provide dealers with actionable insights directly affecting their bottom line.
He said, “The goal tracker and individual performance reviews allow them to quickly identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.”
Leadership Insights’ Financial Reports now include:
- Year-Over-Year Comparisons: Compares sales and expenses across multiple years and months, broken down by individual departments, to easily spot trends and highlight improvement areas.
- Goal Tracker: Tracks goals by department for the full year to quickly compare current performance against year-to-date goals, forecast progress against goals and make data-driven adjustments.
IDS added three new views to monitor a dealership’s progress on a monthly, weekly and daily basis:
- Key Insights Report: Provides a concise executive summary to give key stakeholders a high-level view of their dealership’s performance across all departments.
- F&I Manager Review: Evaluates finance performance, product penetration and F&I percentages over time. Drills down by F&I manager, location or salesperson.
- Service Writer Review: Monitors service department performance, including monthly sales, work order counts, repair event cycle times, labor rates and hours sold. Drills down by author and location.
Leadership Insights customers, such as RV Country’s Corbin Croom, said the updates help dealers monitor key metrics without redundant information.
“The F&I Manager Review page allows us to track all F&I KPIs for all managers, all locations and allows the user to toggle between Cash or Finance deals under whichever date range we would like to analyze,” Croom said. “The time savings from having to create our own reports downloaded from IDS to now having IDS feed the dashboard style reporting is huge—likely hundreds of employee hours over the course of the year.”
