A New Mexico inventor created a protective accessory to intercept and deflect hailstones away from a roof vent.

“I wanted to create a protective accessory for the rooftop air vent cover and skylight on a recreational vehicle,” the Los Lunas, N.M.-based inventor said, according to InventHelp. “So, I invented the Air Vent Cover. My design protects against hailstones and other damage.”

The patent-pending invention protects RV skylights and air vent covers during a hailstorm. As a result, it prevents unwanted damage and it eliminates the hassle and cost associated with replacing skylights and vent covers.

InventHelp stated the invention features a durable, easy-to-install design and can be produced in various designs.

The original design was submitted to the national InventHelp sales office. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
