A Pennsylvania inventor created a patent-pending skirting to prevent cold winds and debris from blowing beneath a parked RV.

According to InventHelp, the skirting enhances the outer aesthetics of an RV and increases comfort and warmth. The product is designed to reduce heating costs, InventHelp said, and may function as an insulator reducing the chance of pipes freezing.

“I thought there should be a more efficient device for keeping the interior of a mobile home or RV warm and comfortable,” said the skirting’s Oakdale, Pennsylvania, inventor. “So, I invented the EZ RV Skirting. My design would offer an improved alternative to using traditional RV skirting that may be bulky, awkward and difficult to install.”

The skirting is available in several designs, is user-friendly, self-adjusting and is easy to apply, InventHelp said.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh sales office of InventHelp. It is available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more, write Dept. 20-PIT-1211, InventHelp, 217 Ninth Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or call 412-288-1300, ext. 1368.
