After 43 years in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Iosso Products moved its operations roughly 20 miles west to Elgin, Illinois.
Iosso Products President Marianne Ortmann said the company loved its time at the old location, but Iosso Products needed to find a new home.
“Basically, we moved because we sold our parent company that was located in Elk Grove,” she said. “Our parent company was there for 53 years. We needed to move out of the building.”
Although the move was only 20 miles away, transporting the company’s inventory and machinery to the new location took time.
“It was a process as we planned ahead by making inventory so that we did not disrupt our orders too much,” Ortmann said. “It took a few weeks to get everything back up and running.”
Iosso Products manufactures specialty cleaning products.
The company’s products include mold and mildew stain removers, a premium water repellent, seam sealer, E-Z snap, a fiberglass reconditioner and a metal polish.
