RV and outdoor technology supplier King hired Tom DeWaard as the company’s new aftermarket regional sales manager.

DeWaard will work in tandem with King’s existing representative team at Tom Manning and Associates, the company stated, providing a secondary level of factory-based sales support to its dealer and retail partners in the western U.S. and Canada.

“We understand that the need is greater than ever for field-level product education to help support our dealers in the face of today’s rapidly changing technology,” company President Craig Miller said. “I am excited to have an experienced industry professional of Tom’s caliber joining our team to provide that additional training and outreach for our customer base.”

DeWaard brings a range of RV dealer and OEM experience to his role, the Bloomington, Minnesota-based company stated. He previously held multiple positions with a major RV manufacturer in the Midwest and West.

He will join Erin Clark, who manages King sales efforts in the eastern U.S. and Canada, and will report to company Executive Director of Sales and Marketing Marc Lubker.

“Our product lineup at King is constantly evolving to keep pace with the RV consumer’s desire to stay connected while they are on the road,” the company stated. “In response to the trend toward streaming content, King has recently added new mobile wi-fi antennas and portable cellular boosters to its established satellite and OTA product offerings.”
