Lippert Components released a sound system built around Resonado Performance Audio technology the company acquired in September.
The Resonado RV sound system features adjustable exterior speakers and a dual-zone subwoofer.
Lippert said Resonado’s proprietary speaker technology represents “one of the most significant advancements in audio hardware design since the conical electromagnetic speaker was invented 96 years ago.”
The audio package debuted this week on Jayco’s Baja Sur concept travel trailer at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Vince Smith, Lippert’s specialty products director, said Resonado’s technologies enable the company to expand its audio lineup.
“Today most speaker locations are chosen by what cabinet or piece of furniture is located behind the wall for the hole cutouts,” Smith said. “This is not the way to design an optimal listening experience. We look forward to redefining RV sound with Jayco.”
