Quality Products RV of Plainwell, Michigan was founded in 1968 and maintains the reputation as the oldest Jayco dealership in the state.

The dealership now is under new management after a sale to the Selvius Family RV Group. The dealership now will be known as RV-Zoo.

“The addition of RV-Zoo brings an eighth separate Michigan RV dealership under the Selvius group umbrella,” Selvius Family RV Group stated. “Each of these dealerships maintains separate leadership teams and corporate identities while operating as fierce but friendly competitors.”

The dealership was owned by the Doxey family. Selvius said the family sought out the group in 2020 in preparation for retirement.

Selvius said RV-Zoo no longer will sell or service lawn equipment and snowmobiles. However, the company recently bought 25 acres of property in anticipation of future area growth.

Ryan Madden, a longtime Selvius group employee, will be the RV-Zoo store manager. Madden has 18 years of RV sales experience to the table. His brother, Russ Madden, will focus on parts and service areas at the dealership.

“The Selvius Family RV group is excited to build on the foundation built by the entire Doxey family,” the company stated, “extending the group’s reach to better serve the greater Kalamazoo RV market.”
