United Shade has announced the launch of the Cordless Pleated Shade. In what the company calls an industry first, the shade is a modern and updated design to United Shade’s standard Pleated Night Shade.
The Cordless Pleated Shade is a custom-built shade offered in a variety of fabrics with matching rails, United Shade OEM Sales Manager Tina Sharkey said. The shade’s soft-touch mechanism allows for the most basic hand interaction to adjust its position up and down. The cordless design requires no tension cords, creating a sleeker and more user-friendly experience, she said.
“The Cordless Pleated Shade is another example of our commitment to innovation,” Division President Anthony Wollschlager said. “We continue to provide solutions to our OEM customers that drive value to end consumers.
United Shade is a brand of Wichita, Kansas-based Airxcel. A longtime RV industry supplier, United Shade offers a large variety of window covering options.
