NRVTA Headquarters RV Park Welcomes New General Manager

The Texan RV Park & Campus, which serves as headquarters for the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA), hired a new general manager, responsible for campus facilities.

Betty Grant started in her new role in October. As general manager, she will oversee all aspects of RV park management. She will oversee a team that maintains the RV park and serves those staying and working at the 37-acre property which includes 95 RV sites, four tiny homes, six cabins and three ponds.

Grant is responsible for overseeing the physical property at the Big Red School House, where technicians are trained; the Little Red School House, where inspectors are trained.

Grant and her husband Troy are graduates of NRVTA and now Troy Grant is on the NRVTA technical training team.

“Quality customer service is the starting point for any successful business, but especially for NRVTA,” Betty Grant said. “It begins by setting realistic expectations and maintaining a high level of excitement for people living and working here. My goal is to ensure good communication and streamline services for all aspects of the Texan RV Park & Campus to provide the best level of service for our guests, students and staff.”

Terry Cooper, the president of NRVTA, said Betty grant is committed to serving people.

“Betty is the type of manager we need to keep the campus community moving forward in an effective and efficient manner. Lots of people are counting on her and I’m confident Betty has what it takes to ensure our facilities remain in top-notch condition and ready to serve students,” he said.
