NCAA champion Ashtin Mahler and her husband, Wolf, are both highly involved in track and field, NBC KTMR 16 reported. Outside of trekking on the course, the two made their way to Texas in a Winnebago RV for Mahler’s upcoming heptathlon event.
Traveling in a motorhome allowed the couple to save money on things such as hotels and rental cars, as well as easily transport their athletic equipment.
Ashtin will take on a collection of seven events: the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter sprint, high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin throw and the 800-meter run. She heads into competition ranked second.
