Pandemic Fuels RV Industry Growth in Florida

The RV industry has been on a sales rise both nationally and locally, Tampa Bay Times reported, with customers in younger age demographics.

Last year’s travel restrictions caused an increase in homeschooling and remote working, along with a general concern for safety, Tampa Bay Times reported. The industry not is only weathering the pandemic but is on the upswing again this year, according to industry experts.

Bobby Cornwell, president and chief executive of the Florida Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds, noted RV campsites grew by 20% in the state last year.
