PRVCA Hosts Dexter Axle Technician Training

The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Campground Association (PRVCA) is hosting a free Dexter Axle training class for RV technicians from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17. The class, with lunch included, will be held at Dixon University Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The hands-on training will address commonly used RV axle and suspensions products including a presentation of theory and hands-on practical training with spring axles and electric drum brakes.

Topics covered during the training will include technician safety, component identification, wheel bearing and electric drum brake service, spring suspension operation introduction to torsion axles, proper trailer loading, alignment troubleshooting and more. Bill Snyder will be teaching the class.

This class, and others technician training sessions offered throughout the year, are free for PRVCA members to attend. In the event participants register and do not show for the class, a $50 no-show charge fee will apply. The class is valued at $650.
