REDARC Hires Executive Advisor

REDARC, a power and safety solutions supplier based in Australia, announced Jan. 26 it hired David Longren as strategic advisor of the company’s U.S. corporation as well as the REDARC Group.

A former Polaris VP and chief technology officer, REDARC said Longren brings experience in general business leadership, innovation and product development. His most recent role at Polaris was president for global off-road, commercial and military vehicle business.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome David,” Managing Director Anthony Kittel said. “He not only has the background, but also the understanding and drive to direct us through 2021 and the coming years. David offers us indispensable knowledge and experience which will prove useful as we seek to leverage the REDARC brand throughout North America.”

In addition to his professional experience, Longren carries four successfully granted patents and has published numerous leadership, innovation and technology papers. He has been recognized as a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) guest speaker, addressing senior management and how to improve innovation speed and quality within NASA programs.

Longren’s appointment comes in conjunction with REDARC’s expansion throughout the North American market. The company stated his appointment reinforces the need to refine and solidify a long-term growth strategy.

“There are great plans put in place for our 2025 vision and we trust David will help lead us there,” Kittel said.
