The Association of Dealer Compliance Officers (ADCO) will host an F&I Roundtable on March 8. The discussion topic will be the Federal Trade Commission’s new Safeguard Rule requirements for small franchise and independent dealers.

Randy Henrick of Ignite Consulting Partners will be the presenter. ADCO stated small franchise and independent dealers are exempt from some updated Safeguard Rule requirements but not all.
“Reliance on existing resources and simple added protections can demonstrate the dealership’s commitment to protect consumer information,” ADCO stated. “Additional external resources can be bundled or provided through cooperative partnerships.”
