RV Technical Institute Launches Job Board

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has launched a job board on its website as a way to direct technician recruits to available jobs in the industry.

Last year, RVTI set a goal to recruit 1,000 technicians from outside the RV industry and surpassed the goal by 10%. This year, RVTI’s team set its sights higher, aiming to recruit 1,200 interested individuals and have RVTI-trained students at 900 dealerships, up from last year’s 750.

“We encourage all of our members to visit the board,” said Curt Hemmeler, RVTI executive director. “Dealerships will be able to post open positions at no cost and it is a great resource to direct recruits towards their next step in the industry. Our team hopes that this is helpful for our members and, ultimately, for the RV industry at large as we continue to work on recruiting more service technicians.”

RVTI said staff hoped the job board would be a beneficial tool for technicians and for hiring dealerships.

Interested dealers can post to the job board for free by navigating to the board’s “Post A Job” section and filling in information on the role. The listing includes the title, location, company name, job poster’s email address, job description and how to apply.
