Women in the RV industry will have a chance to discuss negotiation strategies during an online forum next month.
The RV Women’s Alliance will host a webinar titled “No Fear Negotiation For Women” on Friday, May 15, the group announced Tuesday. Participants will talk about “simple, effective and repeatable” tools for achieving desired negotiation results.

John Tinghitella and Nicole Martin, authors of the book “No Fear Negotiation For Women,” will lead the webinar discussion.
“We know that women who step forward into the opportunities present in today’s economy will make a tremendous impact,” said RV Women’s Alliance President Susan Carpenter.
Tinghitella is a longtime member of the RV industry. His co-author, Martin, is a professional a speaker, author and CEO.
“Women in the American economy have faced systemic unfairness in compensation and upward mobility,” Tinghitella said. “They have to work harder than their male peers, to get less. A lot less. In fact, 80 cents on a male dollar. In 2014, women became the majority gender in the United States. Yet the changes in workplace policy and dynamics to attract and retain women as a competitive advantage have yet to be made.”
According to the RVWA, Martin is a “dynamic and empowering consultative leader and futurist skilled in helping organizations meet their strategic objectives through their people.”
She will speak about examples of what women can achieve when supported with opportunities.
“Our mission echoes the desire of these authors,” Carpenter said. “We are here to accelerate the trend of women making headway in the workplace as well as supporting businesses with initiatives that will expand opportunities for women.”
