The Mike Molino RV Learning Center launched a new online course to provide service writers and advisors with foundational skills to create loyal customers.
An RV Learning Center task force, led by RV Fixed Operations Consultant Tony Yerman, shared expertise to help make this course possible. Instructional designers at Indiana-based CVC Communications created the course, which is organized into nine modules and covers more than 40 competency areas.
The self-study course includes instruction on:
- Improving customer satisfaction
- Organizing and managing appointments and workflow
- Generating additional services and revenue
- Coordinating with technicians and other departments
- Administrating and operating effectively
- Building trust and rapport
“This will make a great foundation for new and old service members of the RV Industry,” pilot group member Wells Gardner of Bill Plemmons RV World said.
The course takes about five hours to complete and concludes with a timed, comprehensive final assessment. For a separate fee, the final assessment helps service/advisors achieve professional certification through the RV Learning Center.
Existing certified service writers/advisors and parts specialists will earn five continuing education credit hours toward recertification upon completion.
Learners have until December 31, 2020 to complete the course and print a certificate of completion. The per-person course registration fee is $150.
