A recording of last week’s RVIA webinar, hosted by Black Folks Camp Too founder Earl B. Hunter Jr., is now available.

In the webinar, Hunter discussed the Unity Blaze message, which means “Treat Everyone, Everywhere, Equally,” while encouraging more Black folks to explore and enjoy the great outdoors with any and every one, RVIA stated. Hunter discussed how his company is using education as a sincere, meaningful, measurable, and sustainable solutions to bring communities together while removing RV ownership barriers, RVIA stated.

Over the last decade, RV owners have become younger and more diverse, according to the Go RVing Owner Demographic Profile. RVIA stated the change brings opportunities for more meaningful engagement and inclusion in the RV lifestyle.

The webinar covered the Black Folks Camp Too and Go RVing education series explaining how to market to and reach Black consumers. RVIA stated Hunter has been a vocal advocate for RVing and for increasing the awareness and accessibility of RVing for the Black community and beyond.

The three-part educational series includes videos on the reasons why many Black folks are not participating in outdoor activities, knowledge gaps that exist within the Black community, and how to reach Black audiences and invite them to be part of the RVing community.
