RVIA presented its annual awards during RVs Move America Week. President and CEO Craig Kirby opened the program with a presentation about the state of the industry. RVIA Chairman Mary Pouliot then presented the awards.

Award winners included former RVDA Chairman Ryan Horsey, Keystone RV’s Joe Kleinknight and two RV/MH Hall of Famers: Ron Breymier, class of 2023, and Chad Reece, class of 2025.

Reece, vice president of government and industry relations at Winnebago, earned the Distinguished Service Award, RVIA’s highest honor. The award is presented to an RV industry individual who has set themselves apart by outstanding service.

During Reece’s RV industry career, his participation and expertise guided RVIA in providing member programs and services. He has served as an RVIA board member and worked on 10 committees and subcommittees.

He is the chairman of the Government Affairs Committee and past chairman of the Awards and Public Relations committees. He also served on the Go RVing Coalition.

Breymier, executive director for the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association-Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council, earned the David J. Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award, presented in conjunction with RVDA.

Breymier is a partner of LegisGroup, a government relations firm representing the RV and manufactured housing industries in Indiana. He has developed deep relationships with federal and state officials that benefited RVIA and RVDA legislative efforts. Among the efforts was signing RV-specific franchise law legislation in Indiana.

Horsey earned the National Education Service Award. The award recognizes those who have been instrumental in developing RV industry educational programs.

Horsey is the president of Parkview RV Center. He has championed industry education programs and technician training throughout his career. As RVDA chairman, Horsey supported RV Technical Institute Board of Director initiatives.

Kleinknight, the quality assurance technical manager at Keystone RV, earned the Distinguished Achievement in RV Standards Award. The award recognizes those who have contributed to RV standards’ enhancement.

Kleinknight has spent over 35 years in the RV industry, including many as an active member of RVIA Technical Subcommittees. He has chaired the Heating Technical Committee for the past 23 years and is a voting member on the Electrical, Plumbing, Fire and Life Safety, and Vehicular Components subcommittees and the Standards Steering Committee.

Pouliot also presented three National Legislative Awards to policymakers who champion the industry. Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.) and Rep. Blake Doriot (R-Ind.) were singled out for their work.
