RVIA will talk industry tax issues in the association’s members-only Driving Policy Webinar, featuring a “special guest” from Capitol Hill.
The webinar is scheduled at 2 p.m. EST April 28, where participants will hear “off-the-record conversations on everything tax.”
RVIA Senior Manager of Government Affairs Samantha Rocci will join Stephen Simonetti, senior policy advisor for Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.).
Walorski sits on the Ways and Means Committee in the U.S. House. Simonetti advises Walorski on a number of legislative issues, with a focus on tax and trade policy, and has been on her staff for more than five years, managing her successful reelection campaign in 2018.
Questions regarding a 28% corporate tax rate, moving floorplan legislation, paying for infrastructure and potential higher taxes will be addressed in the webinar.
