RVIA Webinars to Share Vital Industry Info on COVID-19

With information on the coronavirus pandemic changing on a daily basis, RVIA seeks to keep its members stay up to date with the latest information on how the recovery bills passed in Congress and executive orders across the country are affecting RV businesses, as well as the latest information on the virus and how the industry can protect its employees. The following webinars are free for RVIA members to participate in. Members of RVDA and ARVC may view recorded versions of the webinars after they have concluded.

Virtual Town Hall: The RV Industry and The Coronavirus Crisis

Tuesday, March 31

RVIA will host a Town Hall Webinar for members to hear an analysis of the just-passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, as well as efforts across the country to keep RV businesses considered essential. Participants will hear from RVIA’s Government Affairs and Legal teams on how their business can utilize the recovery bill, as well as about the many executive orders being issued across the country. Coronavirus Facts and How to Protect Your Employees Webinar

Date: Wednesday, April 1
Time: 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. EDT

RVIA presents a webinar with Dr. S. Jesse Hsieh, MD, for medical insights on the COVID-19 virus and how to protect the health of employees and companies. To register, click here.

Hsieh will cover three main areas:

• Medical primer on COVID-19, such as the real facts about which masks work, social distancing and how long the virus remains on surfaces and in the air.
• What the real statistics are, why the death rate varies so much by country, what the hot spots are and who is most at risk.
• How businesses can safely return people to work, government directives and how to allay employee fears.

Hsieh is chairman of the board of Beacon Health System, a billion-dollar organization with five hospitals and more than 7,000 employees. He is also professor at both the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Notre Dame MBA/EMA programs. He has been featured in national publications for medical excellence in caring for multiple generations of families over his 30 years of experience.

Both webinars are expected to reach capacity, so registrants will be asked to submit questions through the webinar system. To sign up for either webinar, RVIA members should log in to their my.rvia.org account. Those without an account can use RVIA’s step-by-step directions on how to create one. After signing up, a link to join the webinar will be emailed on the morning of the webinar.
