Jered Sobel, president of Sobel University, will lead a workshop on building and retaining top performers in the sales track at the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

The convention/expo will take place Nov. 8-12, 2021, at Paris Las Vegas.

Sobel’s session, titled “What it Takes to Keep a Top Performer: Build a Career Salesperson,” takes place from 2-3 p.m. Nov. 10. The workshop will show attendees how to hire, train, evaluate and coach standout sales staff with an eye toward continued growth and keeping the best onboard for the long term.

Learning objectives for the session include:

  • Hiring the right person with the necessary aptitude, desire and respect for the opportunity given.
  • Giving them tools to continuously develop their sales skills and their client base.
  • Coaching salespeople to a level of income that is impossible to walk away from.

The RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide a variety of workshops and networking events that will aid dealers in building on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel. The convention/expo is sponsored by RVDA, the National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
