RV News has been made aware of an digital outreach campaign to people listed on LinkedIn by bad actors misrepresenting themselves as employees of DRN Media and RV News magazine.
RV News employees all have email addresses ending in the domain: @rvnews.com. All freelancers who work on behalf of RV News have their interviews and appointments individually set up by an editor employed at RV News before the freelance reporter reaches out, so interviewees know the name of the freelancer who will be doing the interview prior to first contact.
If the email you receive does not end in “@rvnews.com,” the person trying to contact you is not from RV News.
