SuperSprings International Partners with RV Dealer

Suspension product supplier SuperSprings International created an exclusive partnership with a Fort Worth, Texas-based RV dealership.

Starting May 14, the supplier’s Trailer SumoSprings product will be fitted to every travel trailer at a United RV location, provided the trailer is built on leaf spring suspension.

“No one has ever done this before, regarding trailer suspension,” SuperSprings Chief Commercial Officer Adam Weisner said. “Typically, these kinds of modifications happen at the manufacturer level, then they end up trickling down to the dealerships and then dealers sell them as extras. This is a really unique situation.”

The company’s Trailer SumoSprings are a suspension enhancement made for towables – something SuperSprings stated has not appeared on the market before. The company’s product is designed to remove sway, hop and vibration from a trailer. This year, Trailer SumoSprings aftermarket sales are up more than 450% from last year.

“On every RV, we sell and include high-quality components,” United RV Service Director Jim Vititow said. “…we have a genuine interest in helping people enjoy their RV. Adding Trailer SumoSprings to that mix is further enhancing this philosophy. This partnership with SuperSprings International is a ginormous step, [it is] us staying out front.”

The partnership begins at the United RV open house May 14. The companies plan to feature videos and SuperSprings International branding, including in-store displays with stripped RVs so customers can look at the product’s workings.

“I am really excited about putting it on all our towable inventory,” United RV VP Kevin White said. “…it gives us something that nobody else has. We are just getting off the ground. It is going to be a great partnership for a long time.”
