Florida-based supplier Etco Inc. released a patented Male Bridge Power Cord Assembly and related products for power cord suppliers.
Etco cord products include blades, pins and female contacts for 110- and 220-volt cords. The products include pre-assembled male and female inserts for automated and semi-automated production.
Etco said the male bridge power cord assembly holds standard brass blades and a ground pin within a polypropylene housing. The company said the product is made to speed power cord suppliers’ fabrication and molding.
Operators can apply three wires in one step by fully automated, semi-automatic and manual processes because products’ crimp ears are in the same direction.
The Male Bridge Power Cord Assembly is offered in sizes for 10- to 12-gauge wires and 18- to 14-gauge wires. The blades are UL 1659 certified.
Etco cord products are made in the U.S. Evaluation samples are available upon request.
