Elkhart, Indiana-based Truma North America released the company’s smallest portable fridge/freezer.

The 30-liter Truma Cooler C30 fits between a family passenger van or work vehicle’s seats, the company stated.

“The compact Truma Cooler C30 is small enough for weekend road trips or daily work vehicles while still providing the same amenities as our larger units,” company President and CEO Gerhard Hundsberger said.

Truma’s new product holds 32 12-ounce cans and has an 8-gallon total volume with vehicle battery discharge protection, the company stated.

“We had strong feedback from the market looking for a solution which fit better into their lifestyle but retained the same features as our larger units,” said Mark Howlett, senior VP of business development said. “The C30 fits conveniently between the seat of commercial vans like the Mercedes Sprinter and Dodge Pro-Master, while at the same time allowing for short trips shopping, soccer game or tailgating that everyone loves to participate in.”

The Truma Cooler line includes portable fridges and freezers available in eight single and dual-zone models. The C30 will be available starting March 1.

Truma is a family-owned business headquartered in Putzbrunn, Germany, where its production site is located. The company employs 600 with offices in the U.S., Great Britian, China, Italy and Sweden.
