In 1965, Leisure Travel Vans’ founders sat down at a kitchen table in Winkler, Manitoba, and hatched a dream. With their families behind them, they started from scratch. They mortgaged their homes. Built their first trailer in a borrowed garage, and called it “The Compact.”
