Winnebago Industries, Inc. on Wednesday appointed John M. Murabito, an independent director since 2017, as chairman of the board.
He succeeds David W. Miles, who has served as chairman since 2019. Miles will remain on the board.
Murabito served as chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer at Cigna Corp. before retiring in 2022. He oversaw human resources, security and aviation, enterprise marketing and civic affairs. He served as president of the Cigna Foundation.
Winnebago Industries President and CEO Michael Happe said Murabito has demonstrated strategic vision and collaborative leadership.
“His deep public company experience, understanding of our business and focus on driving shareholder value,” Happe said, “position him well to help guide us through the opportunities ahead.”
Murabito said he looks forward to advancing the company’s strategic priorities.
“Together, we will build on the company’s strong foundation,” Murabito said, “and continue delivering exceptional experiences for our customers and returns for shareholders.”
Miles will serve on the board’s audit, nominating and governance committees.
Happe said he appreciated Miles’ efforts as chairman.
“His steady leadership during a transformative period helped shape the company’s direction,” Happe said, “and we are pleased that he will continue to lend his insight as a valued member of the board.”
The board of directors also declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.35 per share payable Jan. 28, 2026, to common stockholders of record at the close of business Jan. 14, 2026.
“Our January dividend will mark the company’s 46th consecutive quarterly payout,” Happe said. “We remain focused on positioning our portfolio of premium brands for long-term growth while continuing to deliver for our shareholders.”
